With a buy-in of VND 50,000,000, today’s action saw 89 entries (67 unique), and only 48 survivors managed to bag their chips and advance to Day 2.
Perry, nearing the 1.5 million milestone in live earnings, maintained his momentum throughout Day 1. His impressive run included an early elimination when his bullets bested Sergius Santos’ cowboys by improving to a set, and he further bolstered his stack by scooping a sizable pot with six-four against Bui Ngoc Long in the second-to-last level.

The Naing (86,100), champion of the APT Summer Series Da Nang PLO, and Adrien Favre(76,900 ), the APT Taipei Hyper Turbo champion, who scored a double-up with pocket tens against Peng Chen, both bagged up and advanced to Day 2.
