Mystery Bounty Final Day
The day started with a field 65 qualified players between two flights out of 241 entries (145 unique). After a couple of levels, 65 became 25 and the exciting part began, as each player grabbed a piece of the 2,103,930,000 VND prize pool (inclusive of 723,000,000 VND bounties).

A significant percentage of the pot when to Benjamin Sai declared the Mystery Bounty champion winning a total of 361,860,000 VND.
He won 334,660,000 VND for his 1st place finish, and drew the Mystery Bounty four times: 2x 5,900,000, 7,000,000 and 8,400,000 for a total of 27,200,000 VND in bounties.
In an interview with the Asian Poker Tour team, he revealed that he originally wanted to join the high-roller tournament instead of the Mystery Bounty but missed it, so he registered late and happened to qualify for the Final Day. He said that he was glad he made the decision.

Welcome to Day 2 of the APT Da Nang Vietnam VSOP 2022 Event #1 Mystery Bounty
Greetings poker aficionados, and welcome to the APT live coverage of the inaugural Asian Pacific Poker Tour Da Nang Vietnam VSOP 2022 – partnered with the Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP) – for the eleventh and final live Asian Poker Tour event of 2022, with the five-star Risemount Premier Resort playing host to the 10-day, 36-event series.
Just 65 players remain in contention out of a starting field of 241, all battling for a share of the ₫2,103,930,000 (~$88,365) prize pool in the first of the series marquee events – the ₫9,000,000+900,000 (~$415) Event #1 Mystery Bounty.
With the top 25 places paying out, and the eventual winner walking away with a ₫334,660,000 (~$14,055) top prize, competition for the hallowed cash spots is expected to be a fiercely contested affair. In addition to the tournament prize pool, a further ₫723,000,000 in mystery bounties are up for grabs varying in size from ₫5,900,000 all the way up to the giddy heights of ₫129,700,00, with at least one of the final tables bounties guaranteed to be one of the largest on offer.
Notables still in contention include the UK’s William Kang (136,000), Singapore’s Benjamin Sai (78,000), Malaysia’s Raiden Kan (76,000), and World Series bracelet winner and one of India’s finest tournament grinders in the form of Aditya Sushant (60,000).
However, it is Vietnam’s Van Tien Dinh the man returning with the chip lead and a stack of 286,000 after topping the Day 1A counts. India’s Abhishek Paul returns second in the overall pecking order after climbing to the top of the Day 1B counts, with the Netherlands Joris Michl (209,500) the only other player to be returning with a stack of over 200,000.
Blinds will restart at 1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 big blind ante, with the tournament playing down to a champion and the APT live reporting team will be on hand to bring you all the tournament action as it happens so stick around as we see who has what it takes to be crowned the first champion of the APT Da Nang's marquee events.
