Massive cooler with a surprising outcome

PostedJust nowby Life of Poker

We arrive at table 11 and see some serious preflop action being made. Cristiano Longo 4-bets his opponent Weng Chih Chan. The Singaporean is deep in the tank. Both players, that sit exactly opposite each other, started the hand with around 50,000.

Chan is struggling with what to do, but in the end, he puts all his chips in the middle. Longo adds his chips to the middle within a heartbeat. Chan right away knows he is in trouble. Showdown:

Longo: A♠ A♦

Chan: K♥ K♣

A gigantic cooler that plays itself. The flop comes T♦ 9♠ 6♦. No help for Chan. The 8♣ gives Chan 4 chop-outs, but it’s still looking very grim for the Singaporean. River: 7♥. The entire table goes mad. What a turn of events, a runner-runner straight on board saves Chan. Everyone loves a chop pot! NZO05378.jpg *On the left Cristiano Longo, on his right Weng Chih Chan
