JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, September 26, 2026– The action continued to gather pace on Day 2 of APT Jeju 2026, with another packed slate of tournaments playing out as the thirteen-day festival moved into its first weekend. More trophies found new homes throughout the day, with a mix of returning champions and new faces adding their names to the winners’ list as the action continued on Jeju Island.

Lunt Returns to the Live Felt With Victory in Event #11: PL Omaha High - High Roller
Lunt makes a victorious debut on Asian soil with his first APT title
England’s Jamie Lunt marked his return to the live tournament scene in style, taking down Event #11: PL Omaha High - High Roller for KRW 25,046,000 (~USD 18,484) and his maiden APT title.
The Englishman had not recorded a live tournament result since 2017, making his victory in Jeju his first recorded cash in nearly a decade. The win also marked Lunt’s first live tournament title in Asia.
Irish professional Toby Joyce, who is closing in on USD 4 million in recorded live earnings, was looking to add a second APT title to his résumé but ultimately had to settle for runner-up and KRW 16,690,000 (~USD 12,317).
China’s Zhihao Zhang completed the podium, taking home KRW 10,730,000 (~USD 7,919) for third place.

Ying Celebrates Maiden APT Title in Event #12: Women's Event
Ying all smiles with her first APT title
China’s Qiang Ying celebrated a memorable breakthrough on Day 2 of APT Jeju 2026, taking down Event #12: Women's Event for KRW 3,460,748 (~USD 2,554).
The Chinese amateur entered the tournament without a recorded live cash to her name, but made her first one count by going all the way to secure her maiden APT title and trophy.
It was an all-Chinese podium, with Menglan Lai finishing runner-up for KRW 2,390,000 (~USD 1,764), while Yuying Wang took third place for KRW 1,520,000 (~USD 1,122).

Hsu Claims Second Jeju Trophy in Event #13: Fixed Limit - Seven Card Super Stud Mix
Hsu goes two for two at APT Jeju 2026
Taiwan’s Yih Ming Hsu continued his flying start to APT Jeju 2026, taking down Event #13: Fixed Limit - Seven Card Super Stud Mix for KRW 2,985,120 (~USD 2,203).
The victory comes just a day after Hsu captured Event #4: Fixed Limit - Triple Draw Mix (A-5, 2-7), giving him two titles in as many days and taking his career tally to three APT titles.
Costa Rica’s Luis Felipe García Salazar finished runner-up for KRW 1,990,000 (~USD 1,469), while China’s Daming Kang rounded out the podium in third for KRW 1,250,000 (~USD 923).

Heung Claims Second APT Title After Three-Way Deal in Event #14: Turbo - NL Drawmaha Mix (2-7 - High)
Heung clinches his second APT title
Hong Kong professional Tsz Kin Heung added another APT trophy to his collection after taking down Event #14: Turbo - NL Drawmaha Mix (2-7 - High) following a three-way ICM deal.
With play down to the final three, Heung, Zehao Li, and Hiroyuki Noda agreed to an ICM deal before Heung emerged with the title and trophy. The Hong Kong pro, who boasts over USD 2 million in recorded live tournament earnings, collected KRW 3,036,384 (~USD 2,241) and secured his second APT title.
Li, who had already won Event #2: PL Omaha Hi-Lo - 5 Card (Big O) earlier in the festival, finished runner-up for KRW 2,574,000 (~USD 1,900). Japan’s Noda took third but secured the largest payout of the trio through the deal, banking KRW 3,050,000 (~USD 2,251).

Wang Goes Back-to-Back Across Festivals in Event #15: Turbo - NLH
Wang takes down his second APT title in as many festivals
China’s Yi Wang continued his recent run of success on the APT after taking down Event #15: Turbo - NLH for KRW 10,351,094 (~USD 7,639).
Wang captured his maiden APT title at APT Incheon 2026, and has wasted little time adding another to his collection. Just one festival later, the Chinese player emerged victorious in Jeju to claim his second APT title.
It was an all-Chinese podium, with Hechen Sheng finishing runner-up for KRW 7,350,000 (~USD 5,424), while Gu Jiajun took third place for KRW 4,820,000 (~USD 3,557).

Nanthana Breaks Through for Maiden APT Title in Event #16: Hyper Turbo - High Roller
Nanthana finally gets over the line for his first APT title
Thailand’s Tharit Nanthana finally broke through for his maiden APT title after taking down Event #16: Hyper Turbo - High Roller, earning KRW 9,744,000 (~USD 7,191) for the victory.
Nanthana had amassed 14 cashes at APT festivals prior to the event without getting his hands on a trophy. The Thai player, who is approaching USD 300,000 in recorded live tournament earnings, put that wait to an end in Jeju with his first APT title.
Taiwan’s Chien Chih Weng finished runner-up for KRW 6,500,000 (~USD 4,797), while the Netherlands’ Robertus Hendrikus Bernardus Hollink completed the podium in third for KRW 4,060,000 (~USD 2,996).

Nakamura Breaks Through in Event #17: Hyper Turbo - NL 8-Game
Nakamura adds his first APT title to his poker career
Japan’s Hideki Nakamura secured his maiden APT title after coming out on top in Event #17: Hyper Turbo - NL 8-Game, earning KRW 1,949,158 (~USD 1,438) for the victory.
China’s Houyu Zheng, who had already captured a title earlier in the festival in Event #7: Hyper Turbo - NL Omaha High, came close to making it two but ultimately settled for second place and KRW 1,300,000 (~USD 959). Hong Kong’s San Hon Pang rounded out the podium in third for KRW 810,000 (~USD 598).

Poon Lands First APT Title in Event #18: Super Hyper Turbo - NLH
Poon finds success on the second day of APT Jeju 2026
Hong Kong’s Yuming Poon turned just his second recorded live tournament cash into a title, taking down Event #18: Super Hyper Turbo - NLH for KRW 3,630,921 (~USD 2,679).
Poon had only one recorded live cash to his name prior to the event, but made his latest trip to the tables count by going all the way in Jeju to secure his maiden APT title.
China’s Yang Zhaolin finished runner-up for KRW 2,620,000 (~USD 1,934), while compatriot Xin Lyu completed the podium in third for KRW 1,670,000 (~USD 1,232).
