MANILA, PHILIPPINES, April 30, 2025 – The Asian Poker Tour—sponsored by Natural8—is proud to announce the full schedule for the highly anticipated APT Championship 2025 (APTC), set to take place from November 14-30, 2025, in Taipei, Taiwan.
Run in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP), the 17-day festival will be hosted at Red Space 多元商務空間, a brand-new venue located in the heart of Taipei.
The largest festival in APT history, APTC 2025 will feature an enticing mix of tournament formats, structures, and over a massive TWD 276 million (~USD 8.4 million) in total guaranteed prize pools.
The crown jewel of the festival is the APTC Main Event, a TWD 350,000 (~USD 10,550) buy-in freezeout tournament running from November 24-28 which comes with the tour’s largest-ever prize pool guarantee – a staggering TWD 165 million (~USD 5 million)!
The Main Event stands as the most prestigious and competitive offering on the APT calendar, with the freezeout structure offering players one shot to claim the title and all the accolades that comes with it.
For high rollers, the schedule delivers a trio of marquee events: the Super High Roller Championship (TWD 850,000/~USD 25,620 buy-in), the Superstar Championship (TWD 1.7 million/~USD 51,240 buy-in), and the High Roller Championship (TWD 500,000/~USD 15,070 buy-in). These elite tournaments offer seasoned professionals plenty of high-stakes action.
Mixed games aficionados will not be left out, with the Mixed Games Championship (TWD 70,000 /~USD 2,110 buy-in) offering an opportunity for mixed games experts to showcase their skills in multiple poker formats, and the PLO Championship (TWD 80,000/~USD 2,410 buy-in) offers Omaha enthusiasts some topflight four-card tournament action.
Other major highlights include the Natural8 Cup Championship (TWD 100,000 buy-in, TWD 35 million/~USD 1.07 million GTD) the Double Stack Championship (TWD 25,000 buy-in, TWD 20 million/~USD 610K GTD), the National Cup Championship (TWD 17,000 buy-in, TWD 12 million/~USD 366K GTD), and the fan-favourite Mystery Bounty Championship (TWD 35,000 buy-in, TWD 15 million/~USD 457.5K GTD).
