INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA, AUGUST 1, 2025– Taiwan’s I-Chun Chiu added another impressive chapter to his APT résumé, securing his second APT title — both in High Roller events — by taking down Event #3: Single Day High Roller. With over USD 800,000 in live earnings, the seasoned pro overcame a stacked 57-entry field to claim KRW 44,324,000 (~USD 31,832) on Day 1 of the festival.

Thai star Thanisorn Saelor, a three-time APT champion and himself approaching USD 800,000 in live cashes, nearly made it a fourth title but had to settle for the runner-up prize of KRW 32,060,000 (~USD 23,020). Rounding out the podium was China’s Xiaobo Pu, who earned KRW 20,680,000 (~USD 14,849).

Also featured at the final table was Joseph ‘subiime’ Cheong, the American poker veteran known for his fearless aggression at the tables. With nearly USD 20 million in live earnings and four APT titles already to his name, Cheong kicked off his Incheon campaign with a solid fifth-place finish, setting the tone for what could be a milestone series as he eyes the USD 20 million earnings barrier and a potential fifth APT trophy.
