JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, September 25, 2026 – Welcome to the penultimate series of the Asian Poker Tour’s 20-Year Anniversary season! Asia’s premier poker tour returns to Jeju, the Island of the Gods, for APT Jeju 2026 — #APTJeju2026. Marking the tour’s 128th festival overall, this event represents its seventh stop on Jeju and 19th visit to South Korea.

Hosted in partnership with Landing Entertainment Korea (LEK), the APT is pulling out all the stops for an expanded 13-day festival running from September 25 to October 7, 2026. Action will take place across the world-class poker felt of the luxurious LES A Casino, located within the prestigious Jeju Shinhwa World resort complex.

An Action-Packed Schedule

The festival is headlined by the KRW 2.2 billion (~USD 1.6 million) guaranteed APT Main Event, running from Sunday, September 27 to Saturday, October 3 with a KRW 2.7M (~USD 1,800) buy-in.

The tour’s two other signature Lion Trophy events—the KRW 15M (~USD 11,000) APT Super High Roller featuring a KRW 500M (~USD 369,000) guarantee, and the KRW 5M (~USD 3,600) APT High Roller boasting a KRW 700M (~USD 516,000) guarantee—play out from September 26-27 and October 3-4 respectively.

In total, the festival features 135 tournaments and comes with over KRW 5.2 billion (~USD 3.5 million) in prize pool guarantees. Buy-ins range from KRW 200,000 (~USD 150) to KRW 37M (~USD 27,000) over 88 No-Limit Hold’em events (featuring 11 dedicated Women’s Events), three heads-up tournaments, and 47 non-NLH events across Omaha, Stud, Mixed, and Draw games.

Win APT Championship 2026 Seats

In addition to the mouth-watering guarantees, the festival also offers players a chance to claim seats for the tour's season-ending showpiece USD 5M GTD APT Championship 2026 (APTC) Main Event running in Taipei in November.

There are 12 APTC Main Event seats up for grabs over the course of the festival, with the top five finishers in the Main Event all receiving a ticket, as well as the champions of the APT Super High Roller, the APT High Roller, the Mystery Bounty Hunter – Sponsored by Natural8, the Superstar Challenge, the Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8, the Event #33: High Roller Ultra Stack, and the the Event #54 High Roller.

APT Jeju Classic Main Event finalist Zu You Wang leads the Korea National Cup

The APT Jeju 2026 tournament action got underway at 11am (KST) with the KRW 900,000 (~USD 665) buy-in Korea National Cup, which is playing out over two days from Friday, September 25 to Saturday September 26.

The tournament drew a combined total of 474 entries (262 unique) over the three starting flights, including two APT Jeju reigning champions; 2025 Main Event champion Abraham Ceesvin, and APT Jeju 2025 Korea National Cup champion Zhi Yi Wang.

The top 14 percent of each respective flight made it through to the Final Day to compete for a share of the KRW 358,344,000 (~USD 264,460) prize pool.

A total of 67 players will be returning to duke it out for the trophy, title, and the KRW 70,334,000 (~USD 51,900) top prize, with all remaining survivors guaranteed a payout of at least KRW 1,380,000 (~USD 1,020).

Flight A

The initial Flight A proved the more popular of the three flights drawing 191 entries who duked it out over eighteen 30-minute levels, with the 27 survivors bagging up chips ten minutes into level 19.

It will be APT Jeju Classic 2026 Main Event finalist Zu You Wang returning in pole position for the Final Day after concluding the Flight A action with a stack of 602,000.

Chinese national Wang was the only player across the three flights to bag over 600K, with Taiwan’s Kuo Yuan Hung (531,000) and Japan’s John Matsuda (464,000) rounding out the top three which puts them second and fourth respectively in the overall pecking order coming into the Final Day.

Other notables to make it through included defending champion Zhi Yi Wang (455,000), reigning APT Jeju Main Event champion Abraham Ceesvin (204,000), and Russia’s Maxim Lykov (197,000).

Flight B

China’s Bin Li bagged biggest on Flight B

The KRW 200 million (~USD 147,000) guarantee was reached and breached midway through Flight B which saw a further 171 entries ante up and fight it out at the felt over nineteen 20-minute levels, with 24 players successfully circumnavigating the tournament minefield.

China’s Bin Li was the only Flight B player to crack the half a million chip barrier, topping the flight with a stack of 525,000, which puts him third in the counts coming into the Final Day.

Mongolia’s Sandagdorj Munkhbaatar (433,000), and China’s Haidi Feng (416,000) rounded out the top three. Other notables to make it through included the USA’s Gary Moon (350,000), two-time bracelet winner Renji Mao (124,000), and India’s Rishi Mehra (111,000).

Flight C

The USA’s Dillon Najor topped the Flight C chip counts of the Korea National Cup

The third and final Turbo Flight C drew 112 entries who battled at the baize over twenty fast-paced 15-minute levels with 16 players making it through to the final day, and the USA’s Dillon Najor bagging up a stack of 407,000 to lead the flight.

Najor was the only Flight C player to bag over 400K, with China’s Xiaoyu Ye (318,000), and Peng Deng (306,000) rounding out the top three.

China’s Xinyan He (215,000) and Sun Yue (195,000) were the only two female players to make it through the flight, the latter being the most successful Women’s Event player of the New Era.

A total of five women remain in contention coming into the Final Day, with China’s Ting Liu (77,000), and Menglan Lai (5,000) making it through from Flight A, and Hong Kong’s Wing Yin Lee (50,000) surviving Flight B.
