Entry Requirements

- Tournament entries are only open to players who have:

• Played an APT event before or
• Have already registered for an APTC 2026 event
• Pairs must have less than a combined DUPR rating of 5.799
• Players who don’t have a DUPR rating will be given an auto rating of 2.5

Mechanics

• Time: 8AM - 1PM
• Venue: DOPE Pickleball Club (also known as DOPE 水獺綠洲匹克球俱樂部)
• Format: Mixed Doubles
• Max no. of teams: 16
• Max no. of players: 32
• Mixed team gets 1 point advantage against a 2-man team
• 2-women team gets 2 point advantage against 2-man team
• Prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
• Finish: Light lunch + awards

Tournament Format

• GROUP STAGE
• 4 groups of 4.
• Every team plays 3 matches.
• 24 group-stage matches total.
• KNOCKOUT
• Top 2 teams per group advance.
• 8 teams → Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final.
• PODIUM
• 3rd-place playoff between semifinal losers.
• Trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
• Top 2 teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals
• Quarterfinal matchups: A1 vs B2; B1 vs A2; C1 vs D2; D1 vs C2.
• This avoids an immediate rematch between teams from the same group.
• Group ranking: match wins → point differential → head-to-head → total points scored → tournament director tiebreak.

Match Scoring

• GROUP STAGE
• 1 game to 11.
• Win by 2.
• Cap at 15
• KNOCKOUT STAGE
• Quarterfinals / Semifinals / 3rd place:1 game to 15, win by 2, cap at 17.
• Final: Best of 3 games to 11.
