Flight C of the APT Jeju Classic 2026 Main Event is done and dusted.
The third flight of the KRW 2,300,000 Main Event drew 290 entries (225 unique), cramming into Les A Casino, Jeju, and duelling it out at the tables over six 30-minute levels and four 45-minute levels.
After nearly six hours of play, 127 players were left standing to bag up their chips to take through to Day 2 tomorrow, February 4.
These 127 survivors will join the 275 from flights A and B, as well as the survivors from the final flight, which is currently running.
It was Vanuatu’s Junh Young Ki who ended the day with the chip lead, amassing a tasty 302,000 chips. Hot on Ki’s heels is China’s Lingfeng Sun with 275,900 chips, and rounding out the podium in third spot is Sun’s compatriot Cheng Xu Hu with 232,800 chips.

Natural 8 Ambassador Kitty Kuo took her seat in today’s flight, but unfortunately fell by the wayside and will need to jump in the final flight if she hopes to get a stack through to Day 2.

After falling short in the event’s previous flights, APT stalwarts Vietnam’s Nang Quang Nguyen, Germany’s Rene von Reden, and Russia’s Maxim Sorokin all got stacks into Day 2, finishing the day with 180,800 chips, 35,600 chips, and 34,500 chips, respectively.
Nguyen will be looking to add to his plethora of APT titles and put in a deep run to pull away from the USD 2m mark in lifetime earnings. Sitting just outside the top ten in 13th spot, he is in the hunt with a healthy stack.

APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024 Main Event champion von Reden is the second player in with a shout of becoming the first dual APT Lion Trophy winner after Japan’s Akira Takasugi made it through in Flight B but he has work to do.
Filipino James Mendoza is sitting pretty in ninth spot with 192,600 and will be pushing on for a deep run to take his lifetime earnings to near the USD 5m milestone and add to his collection of APT titles.
Rene von Reden Looking To Become The First Dual APT Lion Winner
APT Manila 2024 Super High Roller champion Malaysia’s William Teoh takes 57,600 chips through to Day 2 and will be hoping to close in on the magical USD 1 milly threshold with a deep run.
China’s Congya Zhang squeaked into Day 2, but with 56,800 has work to do if she is to take her lifetime earnings to over the USD 300,000 mark.

APT Jeju 2024 Main Event champion China’s Xixiang Luo snuck into Day 2 with 45,100 chips and is rapidly closing in on the USD 7m mark.
Luo’s compatriot Super High Roller finalist Guoliang Wei is just behind Luo with 44,200 chips and hoping to cross the USD 3.5m mark with a deep run.
WSOP bracelet winner China’s Renji Mao also snuck into Day 2 with 36,100 chips and will be looking to add to his near USD 4.5m in recorded earnings.
