Hong Kong’s Ka Chun Tsui Scores Maiden APT Title in Event #114: NLH Freezeout
A late addition to the schedule, the TWD 25,000 Event: #114 NLH – Freezeout drew a field of 201 players who fought it out at the felt over thirty-two 20-minute levels in an attempt to earn a piece of the TWD 4,386,825 (~USD 139,125) prize pool.
It was Hong Kong’s Ka Chun Tsui the man to claim gold, converting his second-ever career APT final table into a maiden APT title. Tsui bested Thailand’s Noppon Taengruen heads-up, banking the TWD 973,825 (~USD 30,880) top prize, with Teangruen taking TWD 656,000 for his runner-up finish.
Hong Kong’s Cheung Yu Chuang rounded out the top three and taking TWD 451,000 (~USD 14,300) for third place. A total of 27 players made the money, with other notables to cash including Hong Kong’s Alan Lau (18th for TWD 53,000), and Taiwan’s **Fu Bang Huang (27th for TWD 44,000) with the final table paying out as follows:

A fun take on No Limit Hold’em where players get three cards pre-flop and discard one post-flop, the TWD 8,000 Event #78: Hyper Turbo – Crazy Pineapple attracted a field of 60 entries (46 unique), generating a TWD 409,728 (~USD 12,995) prize pool.
It was South Korea’s Suya Lee who locked up first place, defeating Taiwan’s De Chih Lai heads-up to claim his maiden APT title and the TWD 119,728 (~USD 3,800) top prize.
