The action played out over fifteen 20-minute levels with Hong Kong’s Pak Ho Ma finishing his series on a high, claiming his maiden tournament title and a KRW 2,771,800 (~USD 2,050) top prize after besting Taiwan’s Hung Hsiang Wu heads-up.
Wu won KRW 1,840,000 (~USD 1,360) for his runner-up finish, with compatriot Yu Tang Wang the only other player to cash, taking KRW 1,150,000 (~USD 850) for third place.

China’s Chao Wei Beats the Champ to Claim Maiden Title in Event #86: Turbo - Short Deck - Double Chance
The KRW 500,000 Event #86: Turbo - Short Deck - Double Chance drew 35 entries (27 unique), generating a KRW 15,107,750 (~USD 11,150) prize pool, with the tournament playing out over fifteen 20-minute levels.
It was China’s Chao Wei who became the latest to claim his newly minted APT title, overcoming Main Event champion Xixiang Luo heads-up to win a KRW 5,577,750 (~USD 4,115) top prize, denying Luo a third series title in the process.
Luo locked up a further KRW 3,850,000 (~USD 2,840) in winnings for his runner-up finish, bringing his total number of cashes for the series up to eight, all of which resulted in a final table appearance.
Australia’s Mark Furniss rounded out the podium, earning KRW 2,460,000 (~USD 1,815) for his second final table showing of the series, with Singapore’s Jereld Sam (4th) and China’s Xiaolong Ye the only two other players to make the money.

Taiwan’s Hung Hsiang Wu Buttons Up the Win in Event #87: Turbo - PL Omaha High - Win the Button
The KRW 400,000 Event #87: Turbo - PL Omaha High - Win the Button saw 35 players (22 unique) in action, battling over sixteen fast-paced 15-minute levels for a share of the KRW 12,086,200 (~USD 8,920) prize pool.
It was Taiwan’s Hung Hsiang Wu who buttoned up the win, defeating Singapore’s Marcus Tan heads-up to claim a KRW 4,476,200 (~USD 3,300) top prize and his maiden APT title.
Tan took KRW 3,080,000 (~USD 2,270) for his runner-up finish, with triple bracelet winner Yan Shing “Anson” Tsang completing the winner’s triumvirate and taking KRW 1,960,000 (~USD 1,445) for third place – his sixth cash of the series. China’s Qian Rong Shen Takes Down Event #88: Hyper Turbo
The KRW 400,000 Event #88: Hyper Turbo attracted a field of 39 entries (34 unique) who battled at the baize over eighteen turbo-charged 10-minute levels for a share of the KRW 13,467,480 (~USD 9,935) prize pool.
It was China’s Qian Rong Shen the woman to take the Baby Lion trophy and KRW 4,987,480 (~USD 3,680) top prize, overcoming Malaysia’s Joshua Tan heads-up to bag her maiden APT title.
Tan took KRW 3,430,000 (~USD 2,530) for his runner-up finish, with Taiwan’s Chi Jen Chen earning bronze and a payout of KRW 2,190,000 (~USD 1,615) for third place. Hong Kong’s Edward Yam Claims Fifth APT Title in Event #89: Hyper Turbo - High Roller
Just an APT festival ago, Hong Kong’s Edward Yam had zero APT titles to his name, a fact the Hong Kong native rectified at the APT Taipei 2024 where he won three. Yam can now boast five, following up his win in Event #91 Short Deck Triple Chance on April 30 by taking down the KRW 1.5M Event #89: Hyper Turbo - High Roller to close out the series on a high.
It took Yam nineteen turbo-charged 10-minute levels to chew through the 50-strong (48 unique) field and claim the lion’s share of the KRW 65,475,000 (~USD 48,300) prize pool, besting Taiwan’s Chao Ting Cheng heads-up to take the KRW 20,615,000 (~USD 15,200) top prize – his largest cash of the festival.
Cheng collected KRW 14,900,000 (~USD 10,990) for his runner-up finish, with compatriot Pete Chen rounding out the podium and earning KRW 9,490,000 (~USD 7,000) for his third-place finish.
Hong Kong’s Sparrow Cheung (5th) and Natural8 Ambassador Phachara Wongwichit (6th) also made the money, with the seven players making the money and the tournament paying out as follows:

The final tournament on the schedule – the KRW 300,000 Event #90: Super Hyper Turbo drew 42 entries (37 unique), all looking to close out their series on a high and claim a piece of the KRW 10,755,360 (~USD 7,935) prize pool.
The action played out over twenty-four high octane 5-minute levels, with China’s Yang Feng rising to the top of the tournament and defeating Hong Kong’s Leo Pang heads-up to claim a KRW 3,655,360 (~USD 2,700) top prize, in addition to his maiden live tournament title.
Pang earned a KRW 2,530,000 (~USD 1,870) for his runner-up finish, with Taiwan’s Kai Cheng Hsu rounding out the top three paying positions and taking KRW 1,610,000 (~USD 1,190) for third place. A total of six players made the money, with the tournament paying out as follows:
