The action played out over twenty-five turbo-charged 10-min levels with Japan’s Naoto Takeya claiming the accolades, besting Filipino-US player James Mendoza heads-up to earn a career-best score of TWD 447,000 (~USD 14,145) and his maiden APT title.
Mendoza, making his first final table appearance of the festival, banked TWD 307,000 (~USD 9,715) for his runner-up finish, with Thailand’s Saran Maneechot rounding out the podium and taking TWD 202,000 (~USD 6,390) for third place. The Netherlands Joris Michl outlasted a 31-strong field (29 unique) in Event #60: Hyper Turbo - NL Single Draw High to claim the lion’s share of the TWD 156,965 (~USD 4,970) prize pool.
Michl defeated Taiwan’s Hung Hsiang Wu heads-up to take a TWD 57,965 (~USD 1,835) top prize, winning his third career APT title in the process.

The TWD 8,000 Event #61: Super Hyper Turbo drew a 102-strong field (91 unique), generating a TWD 696,537 (~USD 22,070) prize pool.
The action played out over twenty-six high-octane 5-minute levels, with Hong Kong’s Ka Chuen Yip taking down the tournament and earning a TWD 175,537 (~USD 5,560) top prize, in addition to a maiden APT title.
