The Asian Poker Tour is returning to Taipei for the first festival of 2024 and is looking to get the Lunar New Year of the Dragon off to a roaring start with APT Taipei 2024 – #APTTaipei2024.
APT Taipei 2024 is both the longest and the largest tournament schedule the tour has ever assembled. The festival promises to eclipse the record-breaking previous visit to the Taiwanese capitol back in April of 2023 which saw 1,989 unique players from 42 countries compete for a massive TWD $225,123,032 (~USD $7,357,920) in prize money.
The 12-day series is 20 percent longer than previous offerings and comprises 113 tournaments in total; featuring 105 Trophy Events and over TWD 150 million (USD 4.8 million) in guaranteed series prize money the highlight of the festival will be the Main Event, which boasts a TWD 65 million (~USD 2 million) guarantee – the largest prize pool guarantee in Asian tournament poker history!

LOCATION: APT Taipei 2024 is running February 28 to March 10 across two separate venues; CTP Asia Poker Arena – Asia’s largest permanent poker room – and the CML (Chinese Mahjong League 華人麻將競技聯盟) both located in central Taipei around a 40-minute taxi ride from Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport. You can pre-book an airport pickup via the Asian Poker Tour's travel partner DK Poker Tour Bookings – this needs to be booked at least one week in advance – or you can pick up a taxi outside of the airport.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE: With the festival playing out over two venues, APT has provided a free shuttle service between the CTP Asia Poker Arena and the CML (Chinese Mahjong League 華人麻將競技聯盟). The shuttles will depart from outside the front of both venues, leaving on the hour and every 30 minutes after, from 10am to 10pm local time.
