Full 203-Event Lineup Unveiled, Featuring Over TWD 288 Million (~USD 8.7 Million) in Guarantees
MANILA, PHILIPPINES, June 5, 2025 – The Asian Poker Tour—sponsored by Natural8, is thrilled to announce the full schedule for the APT Championship 2025 (APTC).
Running from November 14 to 30, and held in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP), the 17-day poker festival will be hosted at the Red Space 多元商務空間 in Taipei, Taiwan.
The festival will have 203 total events to compete in, headlined by the 20 Championship Events including the Asia Gaming Industry Championship Freezeout (entries limited) which kicks off the day before the festival begins. Players attending APTC will have 19 Championship Events to vie for in their journey to for poker glory.
Along with 183 Side Events offering players a wide range of formats and buy-ins, the festival will feature over TWD 288 million (~USD 8.7 million) in guaranteed prize pools.
The centrepiece of the series is the APT Championship Main Event, a USD 10,000 buy-in freezeout running from November 24–28, boasting the tour’s largest-ever guarantee of ~USD 5 million. True to its prestige, the Main Event will offer players a single shot at glory – no re-entries.
Players can also win their way into the Main Event by capturing one of the following Championship titles during the festival:
- National Cup Championship
- Mystery Bounty Championship
- 7-Max Championship
- Ultra Stack Championship
- Natural8 Cup Championship
- Super High Roller Championship
- Superstar Championship
Each of these events will award its winner with a coveted APTC Main Event seat, in addition to their prize money and title.
For high rollers, this festival will have 33 elite high roller events to choose from including the Superstar Championship (~USD 50,000 buy-in), the Super High Roller Championship (~USD 25,000 buy-in), and the High Roller Championship (~USD 15,000 buy-in). Avid fans of mixed formats can look forward to 62 non-NLH events, with a strong showing of 35 Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo events and 27 mixed, stud, and draw variants. Notable among them are the PLO Championship (TWD 100K/~USD 3,400) and the Mixed Games Championship (TWD 70K/~USD 2,400).
At the recently concluded APT Taipei 2025, the Women’s Events had over 1,000 total entries and awarded over USD 300,000 in prize money.
Women’s poker will take another major step forward at APTC 2025, with 19 events for the ladies. In addition to the Women's Championship (TWD 35K/~USD 1,200), this year introduces the first Women's Bounty and Women's Limit Event, as well as a satellite exclusively leading into the Women’s Championship.
Meanwhile, players seeking value will be well catered for – with 80 events priced below USD 300, and 72 more between USD 300–1,000. In addition, a total of 25 satellite events are planned, covering nearly all Championship tournaments.
