MANILA, PHILIPPINES, February 27, 2025— The Asian Poker Tour—sponsored by Natural8—is pleased to announce the APT Taipei 2025 festival schedule with the TWD 70 million (~USD 2.1 million) guaranteed Main Event from April 25 to May 4, 2025.
We kicked off our year with record-breaking numbers in Manila, running the tour’s largest and richest APT series ever to play out in the Philippines. Our next stop, APT Taipei 2025—run in partnership with Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP)— will take place from April 25 to May 4 at the brand-new Red Space.
With our previous stops in Taipei setting multiple tour records in 2024, expectations are high for another amazing festival at the vibrant metropolis, especially with the festival boasting 126 events in a spanking new venue with more than 100 tables, and over TWD 126 million (~USD 5.4 million) in guaranteed prize money. The APT Main Event—comes with a TWD 55,000 (~USD 1,680) buy-in and boasts a mouth-watering TWD 70 million (~USD 2.1 million) prize pool guarantee.
In addition, high rollers will have plenty to play for with daily high-roller events, including the Superstar Challenge, Baby Superstar, and the APT Super High Roller. Not only that, the festival will see the debut of three new high-roller events, namely in Pot-Limit Omaha, 9-game, and the Women’s Event.
For our mixed-game enthusiasts, the festival will include 38 mixed-game events. Some key highlights include our Masters Events series including one more mixed game format: Dealer’s Choice. Next, new events have been added including Stairway to Seven, Cry Me A River, Archie, Drawmaha 2-7, Super versions of Stud, Stud 8, Razz and Razzdugi. In addition, Pot-Limit Omaha and Big-O will have now have Double Board Bomb Pot formats.
In our last event in APT Manila Poker Classic 2025, we ran the Women’s Event everyday for the first time in APT’s history. To continue the momentum of growth for the ladies game, we are the doing the same in APT Taipei 2025. Along with the aforementioned Women’s High Roller, our Women's Main Event with a TWD 20,000 (~USD 610) buy-in will give the ladies a chance to win twice in Taipei with our Women’s Main Event Champion in April securing the very first seat for the TWD 35,000 (~USD 1,068) Women's Championship Event during the APT Championship in Taipei in November!
