*JEJU, SOUTH KOREA, October 1, 2026 – Day 7 of the APT Jeju 2026 festival (#APTJeju2026) proved to be an action-packed day with thirteen tournaments playing out at the tables of LES A Casino inside the Jeju Shinhwa World resort.

Other marquee events saw 373 entries duke it out in Day 1 of the Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8, as well as the debut of the brand new KRW 15M (~USD 11,000) buy-in Single Day Super High Roller.

Other side event action featured the final day of the 191-entry KRW 5M High Roller, alongside ten additional side events including the KRW 600K NL - Hold’em, the KRW 1.5M Masters Fixed Limit Seven Card Stud, and the KRW 1.5M Women’s High Roller, plus an eclectic selection of Omaha, and Turbo Hold’em tournaments. Main Event Action

Just 198 of the 1,375-entry field returned for Day 3 of the KRW 2.7M (~USD 1,900) buy-in APT Main Event, all guaranteed at least a KRW 4,180,000 (~USD 3,120) min-cash from the KRW 3,207,600,000 (~USD 2,393,730) prize pool.

Before the action got underway, the first of the five USD 10,000 (~KRW 13.4M) seats to November’s USD 5 million guaranteed APT Championship Main Event on offer in the tournament was awarded via lucky draw, with the USA’s Kou Vang sitting in the hot seat and booking his ticket to Taipei.

Another seat will be awarded before the start of play on Day 4, with the remaining three going to the top three finishers.

Day 3 action resumed with 22 minutes remaining on the clock on level 18 and spanned over six full 60-minute levels, concluding with the elimination of China’s Zixiong Jiang in 48th place at the hands of Kim Wah Chiu, boosting the Singaporean into the tournament’s top ten chip counts.

Start-of-day chip leader Ma Kaihong put on a wire-to-wire performance to top the counts for the second consecutive day, concluding the action with a stack of 3,185,000 – 15 big blinds more than next closest rival Yi Heng Luo (2,730,000), with Weimin Chen (2,310,000) rounding out the top three with the top ten as follows:
