The Asian Poker Tour returns to Jeju this September with its most ambitious Korean festival to date. Following the unprecedented success of the APT Jeju Classic 2026 earlier this year, the tour is raising the stakes once again as APT Jeju 2026 expands into a 13-day poker spectacle featuring 136 trophy events and over KRW 5.2 billion (~USD 3.5 million) in guaranteed prize pools.
Held from Friday, September 25 to Wednesday, October 7 in partnership with Landing Entertainment Korea (LEK), the festival takes place at LES A Casino inside the prestigious Jeju Shinhwa World resort. The expanded schedule represents a significant step forward for the tour in South Korea, where every APT festival has continued to rewrite the record books.
While the KRW 2.2 billion (~USD 1.5 million) guaranteed APT Main Event remains the centrepiece of the festival, the High Roller schedule stands out as one of the strongest ever assembled on the tour. From established championship events to specialist mixed games and fast-paced turbo formats, the series offers an extensive line-up designed for players looking to compete for the biggest prizes and the most prestigious Lion Trophies.
Across the festival, 30 High Roller tournaments are scheduled with buy-ins ranging from KRW 1.5 million (~USD 1,000) to the KRW 37 million (~USD 25,200) Superstar Challenge, the largest buy-in of the series. Alongside substantial prize pools, five of these events will also award winners a coveted USD 10,000 seat to the season-ending APT Championship Main Event in Taipei, adding even more significance to an already star-studded schedule.

Two-Day High Roller Events
Headlining the High Roller schedule are six prestigious two-day tournaments, ranging from the KRW 5 million (~USD 3,400) APT High Roller to the festival's largest buy-in event, the KRW 37 million (~USD 25,200) Superstar Challenge.

APT Jeju 2025 High Roller – Superstar Challenge champion Daniel Tang
The High Roller – Superstar Challenge once again stands atop the APT Jeju 2026 schedule as the festival's most prestigious high-stakes event. Carrying the largest buy-in of the series at KRW 37 million (~USD 25,200), the tournament has become a proving ground for many of the game's biggest names, consistently attracting elite fields competing for one of the tour's most coveted Lion Trophies.
In addition to the title and a share of the substantial prize pool, this year's champion will also earn a USD 10,000 seat to the season-ending APT Championship 2026 Main Event in Taipei.
The tournament reached new heights at APT Taipei 2024 when the buy-in was increased to USD 25,000, producing what remains the largest and richest edition in its history. French poker icon Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier topped a 49-entry field to capture the biggest share of the TWD 36.9 million (~USD 1.17 million) prize pool, earning a record-setting TWD 11.6 million (~USD 367,770) first-place prize, the largest payout ever awarded in the event.
The reigning APT Jeju champion is Hong Kong's Daniel Tang, who emerged victorious over a field of 40 entries at APT Jeju Classic 2025. Tang collected the largest share of the KRW 1.326 billion (~USD 947,140) prize pool, banking KRW 446.08 million (~USD 318,630), including an APT Championship 2025 Main Event seat.
Players start with 250,000 in chips and compete over fourteen 40-minute levels on Day 1, with the survivors returning for the Final Day to duke it out for the title and trophy.

APT Jeju Classic 2025 High Roller champion Ravn Teo
The two-day High Roller returns to the APT Jeju 2026 schedule as one of the festival's premier side events, offering players a deep-structured tournament, a prestigious Lion Trophy, and the opportunity to compete for a substantial prize pool. With a more accessible buy-in than the tour's marquee high-stakes events, it has become a popular fixture for professionals and ambitious high-stakes regulars alike.
Adding further incentive, this year's champion will also earn a coveted USD 10,000 seat to the season-ending APT Championship Main Event in Taipei.
The tournament has steadily grown in popularity since its debut, with the richest and largest edition to date taking place at APT Jeju Classic 2025.
Singapore's Ravn Teo overcame a record field of 260 entries to capture the title, collecting the largest share of the KRW 898.56 million (~USD 641,830) prize pool. His victory earned him KRW 148.05 million (~USD 105,750) and established new APT records in South Korea for the two-day High Roller in field size and prize pool.
Single-Day High Roller Events
While the festival's two-day tournaments headline the High Roller schedule, APT Jeju 2026 also features an extensive line-up of single-day events that combine competitive structures with the convenience of being completed in a single session.
The schedule includes 10 Single-Day High Roller tournaments, with buy-ins starting at KRW 1.5 million (~USD 1,000) for the Women's High Roller and rising to KRW 10 million (~USD 6,800) for the Baby Superstar Challenge. Along the way, players can test their skills in a variety of formats including Pot Limit Omaha, Mixed Games, Mystery Bounty, and the ever-popular High Roller – Last Chance.

Pot Limit Omaha continues to grow in popularity across the Asian Poker Tour, with the PL Omaha High – High Roller once again returning to the APT Jeju schedule after becoming a regular fixture on the calendar. Offering Omaha high rollers a chance to compete, the tournament has consistently attracted competitive fields since its introduction.
The largest and richest edition of the event remains the tournament staged at APT Taipei 2026, where the Philippines' Vamerdino Magsakay topped a 39-entry field to claim the biggest share of the TWD 2.1 million (~USD 70,000) prize pool, earning a TWD 810,000 (~USD 26,000) first-place prize.
The reigning Jeju champion is India's Jayraj Ninama, who captured the title at APT Jeju 2025 after overcoming a 27-entry field. He claimed the lion's share of the KRW 69.984 million (~USD 50,000) prize pool, taking home KRW 29.384 million (~USD 21,000) for the victory.

Since its introduction, the tournament has become one of the most popular high-stakes side events on the APT calendar.
The tournament's largest and richest edition was staged at APT Taipei 2025, where Taiwanese Natural8 Ambassador Chih Wei Fan outlasted a field of 151 entries to capture the biggest share of the TWD 22.3 million (~USD 729,540) prize pool. His victory earned him a tournament-record first-place prize of TWD 5.3 million (~USD 165,380).
The reigning Jeju champion is China's YiHeng Luo, who topped a 64-entry field at APT Jeju 2025 to claim the title. Luo secured the lion's share of the KRW 571.392 million (~USD 405,240) prize pool, taking home KRW 166.562 million (~USD 118,130) for the victory.
Event #21: Single Day High Roller – Mystery Bounty

The Single Day High Roller – Mystery Bounty has become one of the festival's most anticipated one-day tournaments for high rollers. A portion of each buy-in is allocated to the bounty pool, with Mystery Bounties coming into play once the field has been reduced to twice the number of paid places.
The reigning champion is China's Jiabao Cai, who emerged victorious over a field of 141 entries at APT Jeju 2025. Cai claimed the largest share of the KRW 548.208 million (~USD 391,580) prize pool, banking KRW 51.608 million (~USD 36,860), while also collecting Mystery Bounties on his path to the title.
Offering players the chance to compete for both prize money and potentially lucrative Mystery Bounties, this event continues to be one of the most entertaining High Roller tournaments on the APT schedule and is expected to draw another strong field in Jeju.

The inaugural edition at APT Taipei 2025 remains the largest and richest Women's High Roller to date. Taiwan's Molly Hsiao overcame a 61-entry field to claim the biggest share of the TWD 1.8 million (~USD 56,930) prize pool, securing her maiden live tournament title and the largest score of her career with a first-place prize worth TWD 537,140 (~USD 16,578).
The reigning Jeju champion is Japan's Ohta Ami, who topped a 19-entry field at APT Jeju 2025 to capture the title. She claimed the largest share of the KRW 24.624 million (~USD 17,590) prize pool, taking home KRW 10.354 million (~USD 7,395) for the victory.
Event #79: 9-Game – High Roller

APT Jeju 2025 9-Game – High Roller champion Hanh Tran
Offering one of the biggest tests of poker skill on the schedule, the 9-Game – High Roller challenges players across nine different variants. The mixed-game format rewards versatility and gives high rollers an opportunity to compete for a trophy away from the festival’s extensive No Limit Hold’em programme.
Japan’s Nagino Makoto won the tournament’s inaugural edition after topping a 24-entry field. Makoto claimed the largest share of the KRW 62.2 million (~USD 45,000) prize pool, taking home KRW 26.1 million (~USD 18,900) for the victory.
The reigning Jeju champion is Austria’s Hanh Tran, who overcame a 16-entry field at APT Jeju 2025. Tran secured the biggest portion of the KRW 41.472 million (~USD 29,410) prize pool, earning KRW 15.372 million (~USD 10,900) for his title-winning performance.
Event #130: High Roller – Last Chance

Bringing the festival to a close, the High Roller – Last Chance gives players one of the final opportunities to capture a high roller title and close out the series with a substantial score.
The largest overall edition of the tournament was staged at APT Taipei 2025, where Switzerland’s Dinesh Alt outlasted a record 200-entry field. Alt claimed the biggest share of the TWD 11.2 million (~USD 367,060) prize pool, earning a tournament-record TWD 2.4 million (~USD 81,240) first-place prize.
The reigning Jeju champion is the United States’ Michael Wang, who topped a 116-entry field at APT Jeju 2025. Wang collected the largest portion of the KRW 300.672 million (~USD 214,765) prize pool, taking home KRW 75.672 million (~USD 54,050) for the victory. That result established new APT records in South Korea for the event’s field size, prize pool, and first-place prize.
Turbo & Hyper Turbo High Roller Events
APT Jeju 2026 rounds out its High Roller schedule with a further 11 Turbo and Hyper Turbo High Roller tournaments, providing players with plenty of events in fast-paced formats throughout the festival. Buy-ins range from KRW 1.5 million (~USD 1,000) up to KRW 2.5 million (~USD 1,700).
For all tournaments with level durations of 15 minutes or less, the shot clock and time bank are set at 15 seconds. Shot clocks are in effect from the opening hand, with players receiving two time banks upon registration and an additional time bank at every scheduled break.
