MANILA, PHILIPPINES, February 15, 2025– The stage is set for the final day of Event #82: Double Stack. The tournament attracted a total of 378 entries (228 unique), building a huge PHP 6.4 million prize pool. All 55 surviving players are guaranteed a min-cash, and have their sights set on the PHP 1.2 million (~USD 20,400) awaiting the eventual champion.
A strong contingent of Filipino players has dominated the event so far, securing the top three overall chip counts across all starting flights. Michael Gabby Concepcion, who emerged as the overall chip leader from Flight C, will enter the final day with 1,174,000 chips as the overall chip leader starting the final day. Close behind is Lenart Ecarma, who topped Flight B with 1,125,000 chips.
Meanwhile, Radge Falcis, a local amateur, topped Flight A and now sits in third place overall with 834,000 chips. All three players are looking to claim their first-ever APT title, and with their commanding stacks, they have a strong chance of making deep runs.

Endo Scores in Event #83: NL Hold'em - Freezeout
Endo triples his live career winnings with his victory
Yoshikazu Endo claimed his first APT title in Event #83: NL Hold'em - Freezeout and took home PHP 556,360 (~USD 9,458). The Japanese amateur bested a field of 29 entries to secure the biggest live cash of his poker career and tripling his total career winnings.
Tanawat U-Snit from Thailand finished runner-up, pocketing PHP 383,000 (~USD 6,508) after a hard-fought battle. Meanwhile, Takumi Monden of Japan rounded out the top three, earning PHP 244,000 (~USD 4,286).

Rivera Breaks Through with Victory in Event #84: PL Omaha High
Rivera cashed twice in Omaha events prior to this victory
Euryd Rivera finally found his breakthrough moment, winning Event #84: PL Omaha High after multiple deep runs in Omaha events throughout the series. The local pro bested a 29-entry field to capture the PHP 234,256 (~USD 3,983) top prize.
Changlim Kim of South Korea finished runner-up, taking home PHP 161,000 (~USD 2,737). Meanwhile, Filipino standout John Tech secured yet another cash to his name, adding PHP 103,000 (~USD 1,751) to his already impressive series.

Sripirom Breaks Through for First APT Title in Event #86: Limit R-O-S-D-E
Sripirom's first APT titles comes in a mixed game event
Nantawat Sripirom has claimed his maiden APT title by taking down Event #86: Limit R-O-S-D-E. Despite having no prior results in mixed games, Sripirom emerged victorious by besting a 19-entry field to walk away with PHP 130,816 (~USD 2,226).
Yu Tang Wang from Taiwan, a seasoned mixed game pro, finished in second place, pocketing PHP 90,000 (~USD 1,532). This result adds to an already stellar series, bringing his total tally to three cashes and one title. Yao Liu from China rounded out the podium in third place, taking home PHP 58,000 (~USD 987).

Tokunaga Claims Second APT Women's Title in Event #87
Tokunaga now has two Women's Event titles to her name
Saori Tokunaga captured her second APT title with a victory in Event #87: Women's Event. The Japanese player, whose previous APT title came in the APT Manila 2024 Women’s Event, added another Women’s Event trophy to her collection after outlasting a 36-entry field for the PHP 67,403 (~USD 1,146) top prize.
Filipina contender Tsubasa Mendoza put up a strong fight, finishing as runner-up for PHP 46,000 (~USD 782), while Shunon Igari rounded out the podium with a PHP 29,000 (~USD 493) payday.

Cho's first APT title comes in a Double Stack event
Miyoung Cho secured her first-ever APT title in Event #88: Turbo - Double Stack. The South Korean player, who has Japanese residency and is a familiar face on the Asian poker circuit, navigated through a 63-entry field to claim the PHP 186,668 (~USD 3,173) first-place prize.
Shigenori Komatsu battled to a runner-up finish, taking home PHP 134,000 (~USD 2,278), while Nuttakit Kundum rounded out the podium, securing PHP 87,000 (~USD 1,479) for third place.

Li finally takes home an APT title
Lok Ching Li of Australia has finally broken through, capturing his first-ever APT title after multiple close calls in previous festivals. Li outlasted a 46-entry field in Event #89: Turbo - PL Omaha - Win the Button, taking home PHP 198,912 (~USD 3,380) in winnings.
Finishing in second place was Wanhao Zhao of China, who earned PHP 137,000 (~USD 2,329), while Johnson Tan of the Philippines rounded out the podium in third, pocketing PHP 87,000 (~USD 1,479).

Sato Claims First APT Title in Event #90: Tick Tock BOOM! High Roller
Sato comes out ahead of his compatriots for his first APT title
Tomonori Sato took home his first-ever APT title in Event #90: Tick Tock BOOM! High Roller. The Japanese amateur outlasted a field of 19 entries, securing the PHP 172,400 (~USD 2,932) first-place prize—the biggest live cash of his career.
In an all-Japanese top three, Ryosuke Ikari finished runner-up, collecting PHP 115,000 (~USD 1,957), while Kaito Mori rounded out the podium, taking home PHP 74,000 (~USD 1,260) for third place.

Osipov Claims First APT Title in Event #91: Super Hyper Turbo - Win the Button
Osipov manages to cross the line to win the Super Hyper Turbo event
Ivan Osipov of Russia has finally secured his first-ever APT title after narrowly missing out in Event #46: Turbo - PL Omaha High - Bomb Pot. The Russian battled through a 43-entry field in this fast-paced format to take home PHP 110,222 (~USD 1,873) and claim victory in Event #91: Super Hyper Turbo - Win the Button.
Krisada Pinthakasetrin of Thailand put up a strong fight but had to settle for runner-up honours, earning PHP 76,000 (~USD 1,292). Meanwhile, fellow Thai player Areerat Sutthisuwan secured third place, taking home PHP 48,000 (~USD 816).
Meanwhile, Canadian Kyle Ivanich, commentator for the series, finished fourth. Let’s hope this is a prelude for better results on the APT field other than a certain APT co-host that always goes all in.
