MANILA, PHILIPPINES, February 7, 2025 – Welcome to the APT Manila Classic 2025, with the action-packed 10-day festival featuring 100 events (including satellites) with the series proper comprising a substantial 95 Trophy Events and boasting over PHP 143 million (~USD 2.4 million) in guaranteed prize money.

Running February 7 to 16 in partnership with the Metro Card Club, the series is playing out in the Grand Ballroom at Crowne Plaza Galleria.

This is the first festival of the APT 2025 season and the 43rd time the tour has hosted a festival in the Philippines’ capital, with the last visit resulting in the largest and richest Philippines-based poker series in tour history.

With the Main Event coming with an affordable PHP 60,000 (~USD 1,000) buy-in and sporting an enticing PHP 60 million guarantee the festival promises to deliver some thrilling top flight tournament action as Asia’s premier poker tour looks to raise the bar once again.

The tour’s other two signature Lion Trophy events—the PHP 600,000 (~USD 10,310) APT Super High Roller and the PHP 200,000 (~USD 3,440) APT High Roller—both boast eight-figure (six in USD) prize pool guarantees.

In addition to the mouth-watering guarantees and cash game action, there is also some extra value on offer for the winners of the Main Event, the APT High Roller, and the APT Super High Roller following the announcement of the tours' end of year poker extravaganza—the TWD 165 million (~USD 5 million) guaranteed APT Championship (APTC) running from November 14 to 30, 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan—with the eventual champions of all three tournaments receiving a TWD 350,000 (~USD 10,700) seat to the APTC Main Event, plus USD 500 added value to cover expenses.

The series looks primed to post some solid numbers, especially if the entries for the opening APT National Cup are anything to go by — which you can read about in more detail below.

In addition to the guaranteed marquee events, the series boasts daily High Roller tournaments and Woman’s Events, plus an eclectic selection of mixed games and assorted poker variants. Highlights include:
